The next several installments will explore gaps between paper and practice in VARR-certified housing owned by people within VARR’s inner circle. Each installment will cover a different organization.
The first three sections in this series adhered closely to my original drafted content. Now, the project is deviating from its original structure to incorporate new findings gleaned from this ongoing investigation.
I do not yet have a release date for the next section due to the time-intensive nature of investigating, corroborating and organizing new information. It is more important to me to be accurate, thorough and fair in my reporting than to produce content on a predictable schedule.
Thank you for your patience as I navigate this constantly evolving process.
As a reminder, if you have knowledge of unethical practices at a recovery organization, please reach out to me. Please do not assume enough people have already reported the issue, no matter how “out in the open” it might seem. As always, your information will not be shared without your permission.
4/26/23 Edit: Due to the volume of content, I will be covering each organization throughout multiple installments.
