The SB838 workgroup — tasked with making recommendations to strengthen oversight and transparency in Virginia recovery homes — will hold its second full public meeting from 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, in the Patrick Henry Building at 1111 E. Broad St.
Going forward, I will post the workgroup schedule and links to related documents on this site’s bill tracker page.
I’ve asked DBHDS how people can submit written public comments to the workgroup. Once I have that information, I’ll add it to the bill tracker page as well.

Yes, you should be able to make a public comment if you attend tomorrow’s meeting. I’m still waiting for information on how members of the public can submit written comments instead.
DBHDS responded that public comments can also be submitted to workgroups@dbhds.virginia.gov.
